Adobe Photoshop Creative Techniques: Creative Techniques by Denise Salles (1996-01-04) Reviews
I didn't care much for this book. Basically it takes a picture of artwork and ever so briefly describes one technique that was used in that piece and how to do it in photoshop. An example would be a drop-shadow.Admittedly, I am a programmer that occasionally creates art for software, documentation and brochures, so my background is limited. In my opinion there are many other books out there that are better than this.
Of the many books about Photoshop, this is a great one! I like the author's use of many examples used in advertising layouts. A real time saver!
Great Book of examples with "how to" steps in Photoshop! Doesn't matter what version or platform you use, this book is filled with concise details of how the image on the page was created. It would take YEARS to discover thru trial and error what you can learn in minutes with this book. No phony CD-ROM included and not written by roids who exercise their fingers writing computer-gobbdigook either! Buy it. It's one of a kind and if you are a user, it doesn't try to teach you Photoshop from A-Z. It assumes you can read and understand a few of the tools in photoshop. Intermediate.
