The Billionaire's Touch (The Sinclairs Book 3) (English Edition) Reviews
It’s a nice book to read, as are the previous two books about the oh so rich and famous Sinclair-siblings. But, do they really have to be the richest and the best in everything? The worlds most successful real estate broker, the worlds most famous photographer, etc. And of course so ridiculous rich. That’s a bit annoying. What really surprised me was that neither the author nor her beta reader or editor remembered the storyline in book 2. Mara stepped in as a bridesmaid at Sara and Dante’s wedding, because Kristin, Sara’s assistant broke her leg. In this book suddenly Randi had stepped in as a bridesmaid at Mara and Jared’s wedding because of the broken leg. Call me a stickler but an author should at least have the former books memorized before you start a sequel. Before you argue, I read a ton of books between book two and three, so it was’t that fresh on my mind. All in all I enjoyed reading it.
Dieses Buch hat mir bisher am Besten gefallen. Die beiden Charaktere sind interessant und Evan zuzusehen, wie er aus dem Mauseloch gekrochen kommt, hat viel Spass gemacht.
I <3 dieses lesen !!!
This is the billionairs christmas in different packaging. When do publishers learn not to do that? I was looking forward to the next Sinclair story
I have loved all of the Billionaire stories with the Sinclair's. Evan an d Radii's story is now one of my favorite. Their fight in finding true love and happiness through trials and overcoming them is so inspiring, My heart bled for both of them at times, Evan truly is a remarkable man who needed the right woman to allow him to know what happiness felt like,
This is more than a romance! We have been waiting for Evan’s story for a long time. Being the oldest of the Sinclair family, Evan always took responsibility for his brothers and sister. Now that they are all married and happy has left Evan feeling adrift. Randi is friends with his family and has had feelings for Evan since she met him at Emily and Grady’s wedding. What happens when they finally get together is nothing short of amazing. Even though they want each other, Randi knows it can’t last. She knows she can’t fall in love with him because when he leaves she will be devastated. Evan doesn’t understand his feelings toward Randi but knows he wants her. Throughout the book we learn more about their backgrounds and understand what has made them into the people they have become. When they learn more about each other will they stay together or not? You will have to read it to find out. Thank you Jan for another great story. Can't wait for the next book!!!
Evan the arrogant Sinclair brother finally has met his match. Randi is feisty and determined not to intimidated by Evan. Randi sends and email to the Sinclair foundation asking for help with the Center and 2 months later a response comes. Little does Evan or Randi know they are emailing each other. Loved learning more about Evan and his disability. Randi shows Evan that there is more to life than money. Wonderful heartwarming story. Definitely a must read!!!
I was waiting on pins and needles for Evan's story to come out. It was worth the wait, for all the he's been through, it's great to see him find love. I love how J.S.SCOTT builds up the characters, you feel like you have grown to know them throughout the books. It is one of my favorite things about this author. Great story, I love how she worked in dyslexia into the story - bring awareness. Can't wait for more from this author!
A sweet story, wounded and guarded soul for our hero, and I really don't think I would call him a hero, but our oldest brother and a giving and somewhat lost soul for his lady fare...The story starts out giving us a small back ground story which is perfect. And of course you can see where it's going to go, but not in an obvious way, but in a nice walk down a winding path into a family we know have grown to understand, as we have also realized has had to deal with a life time of pain from a horrible awful no good very bad father.I liked Evan from the first time I met him in the earlier books, maybe because you knew there was a strong story behind the strong man. He is all that big brother protective guy we all know, but the depth of his issue if you will is unexpected. Randi is a great gal and good friend like so many teachers she finally see's Evan for what he deeply is, a lost and hurt boy. They fit well together and in so many ways don't really see it themselves at first even when others do.This is where I'm going to say, yes you can read this book alone without having read the other books, but why do that to your self. Each book in the series cannot help but build upon the other. go meet all the brothers..so stop and go grab book 1 first. How do I say this without giving away the story...well here goes. The author hit on so many real levels about the issue that Evan has had to live with his whole life and how he has made things work for him successfully. There are so many great programs out there for kids to help with this process, but when it comes to being an adult with this issue and dealing with the work place it's not an easy road and is often ended due to the issues. As the saying goes' when God gives us a challenge He often blesses us with other strengths. IT's finding those strengths, living with the high they give us and learning that the issues that make us different do not make us broken or dumb. We all learn to over compensate for our weaknesses, to hid them and at times laugh at them to help the hurt or disappointment go away. To quote a friend when she said ---"Just once I would like to write something without it being an issue at work or be on a deadline that works out or that did not get messed up or confused, cause I missed it in my review of what needed to happen and when it needed to happen. How dumb do I feel when things like this happens."Your description of Evan was often on point to how a person deals with or learns to deal with this life long issue. But also the emotional stress that follows you all your life.
