This is a great sequel to Sensational Knitted Socks - for those of us who can't get enough of Charlene Schurch's designs. The format is a bit different from the first one (the stitch dictionary is in the back of the book instead of directly after each chapter and includes more stitches). This book also includes doing socks for both toe up and cuff down. LIke the other book, she gives charts and directions for knitting on 4 dpns, 5dpns, or 2 circulars (or just magic loop). This accommodates all knitters. Charlene's patterns are mostly textured with plenty of choices and she includes several chapters for designs with color. This book gives such choices that knitters of all levels are thrilled. I have all of Charlene Schurch's books and love them all. (Try her hat books if you like her designs).

More Sensational Knitted Socks book offers a fantastic way to advance your knitting knowledge and skill set. What I like about her second book is the extended features and detailed information about sock basics, whether toe up, top down, understanding short rows and configuring heels helps knitters understand full construction. This second book also has several stitch patterns which being an intermediate to advanced knitter really appreciate. The book gives you a chance to learn "how to" follow mosaic patterns, charts, and basic patterns creating your own charts eventually. Greàt book, fast delivery and packaged well. Thank you.

I loved the first book and I have to say this one's even better! There's nothing I love more than being able to pick different stitch patterns by the number of stitches in the repeat. Brilliant way to set up a book! And one of my pet peeves about most stitch guides where you have to rummage through to find one that fits the design you want to do. As a devout magic-looper I especially appreciate the way this book is presented so I can pick and choose without having every detail explained for each sock pattern which are usually written for DPNs. This is a thinking knitters sock book and I'm a huge fan!!

All the pattern are wonderful, easy to follow so far no noted errors. Every book purchase by Schurch, are like stand by can't go wrong. Started with the Sock Box, made all the pattern in the box pretty much. Love them all, no problems, no typo errors. Books also include the Charts, with the written patterns. Many thanks to Ms.Schurch, like having tutor using her patterns.

This is another great book to give you inspiration in your sock knitting. While this book is very similiar to her other sock book, I feel that this one has more information in it regarding cast ons and bind offs. There is information on different heel flaps and toes as well.

IT seems I'm collecting almost every book there is on knitting socks. This book offers a great conversion from dpn to circular knitting patterns.

Knitting socks is my favorite thing to do. The patterns in this book are exceptionally nice and the instructions are very easy to follow. Can't wait to cast on another pair.

I have both her first book and this one, and both of them are very useful, but I actually prefer this one. I like the way all the socks include both toe-up and cuff-down directions, and all the stitch patterns are in back, each with suggested ribbing. Her technique instructions are pretty good, too. I finally figured out how to do a short-row heel following her directions.
